Our evidence-based Six Healthy Practices are the basis of Lamaze education, which teaches about the safest and healthiest practices for a safe and healthy birth. They are recommendations to help ease the birthing process and instill confidence. While some may have unique circumstances, all parents can benefit from understanding the options and information available to them.

My Lamaze® childbirth classes are designed to provide you with researched-backed information and personal strategies to move confidently into parenthood. This birthing course has it all!
- How your body was designed for birth, and encouraging you to work with your body’s natural abilities.
- Strategies for comfort and coping with pain during labor, reducing unnecessary medical interventions, and receiving continuous support during labor and birth.
- How to navigate all of your options and their benefits and risks.
- How to be a great birth partner and how to work as a team.
- The importance of skin-to-skin contact and early bonding.
- Tips for early breastfeeding, bonding, and recovery.
In-Depth Learning Experience
- 5 in-person classes with your instructor and classmates to review and discuss videos and reading assignments
- Practice of hands on comfort techniques for partners to gain skills and practice of optimum positions for labor and birth
- Participants will have weekly reading assignments from CCI's Your Labor and Birth e-book and have access to view online videos on pregnancy, labor & birth, comfort measures, medical interventions, postpartum and newborn care
- Access to professional videos on many related topics for 12 months

Good to know: You can pay with your Flexible Spending or Health Savings Account debit card. Check with your plan's guidelines. And, most insurance providers will reimburse for childbirth classes and breastfeeding support and classes when submitted with a prescription from your OB provider.

Breastfeeding Classes
This 3-hour private in-person class covers all the essentials you need for a healthy start to breastfeeding your newborn. Virtual private sessions are also available.
Not seeing what you need? I also offer private, accelerated, customized classes for childbirth or combining topics such as comfort measures for birth, newborn care and breastfeeding. The fee is $75./hour for virtual class and $85./hour for in-person. These often are 3-4 hours based on needs. Contact me for availability.

- Scholarships are available - for those for whom the fee is a hardship. Limited to 1 per small group. Contact me directly for more information.
- Refund Policy - Your payment reserves a spot in the class and is non-refundable, but is transferrable to other classes or services. If, due to circumstances beyond your control and with 10 days prior to class start date you need to cancel a refund of the class fee minus $50. will be provided.
